De Mowbray Music is based in the beautiful market town of Thirsk, nestled between the North York Moors and the Yorkshire Dales, in the Vale of Mowbray. It was founded in 2020 by Benjamin Ellin and Emily Taylor as a way to build on the already vast array of arts in this thriving area, and ensure music is at the forefront of the local conscience.

The community is at the heart of everything we do, and through our work we bring together and connect individuals from all walks of life to produce high-quality and inspiring performances across an abundance of genres.
